We Defy Foundation is a volunteer-run nonprofit that helps combat veterans coping with military-connected disabilities find a long-term way to overcome their challenges through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Gracie Barra Herriman is proud to be a We Defy Foundation Approved Training Facility, supporting We Defy scholarship recipients with the same structured curriculum, coaching standards, and team culture we’re known for. Through this partnership, eligible veterans can receive a 12-month Jiu-Jitsu scholarship at approved academies, making it easier to rebuild confidence, restore purpose, and connect with a strong community on the mats.
